Women Sourcing Solutions (WSS) . . . The Story Behind the Source.

In 1995, Becky Heidesch founded WSS focusing primarily on women candidates in the sports industry. Over time, WSS would become one of the longest-standing women’s sport businesses in the U.S. offering a variety of services including marketing consulting, career management & job placement. 

In 2003, Heidesch and Mary Lou Youngblood created WSS Executive Search, the placement arm of Women Sourcing Solutions (WSS) to expand and meet the unique hiring needs of their clients. WSS Executive Search continues today with placements extending into the financial services, technology and healthcare industries.

Becky Heidesch

The Founder of WSS, Becky offers her clients’ years of experience honed in human resources, executive search, sports marketing and entrepreneurship.  Though the years, Becky has directed WSS to become a nationally recognized firm in providing unique sourcing solutions.  Establishing her early career in the sports industry, she is driven by a passion, diligent work ethic and true desire to build outstanding teams. 

Her unique background includes a variety of successful roles; including being handpicked as a women’s marketing consultant by a variety of large corporations, recognized nationally as a public speaker in career management, and a head coach of a #1 nationally ranked NCAA collegiate team. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Concordia University and an MA & BS from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo State University. 

Mary Lou Youngblood

As SR Partner, Mary Lou joined WSS from the NBA/WNBA. She draws upon her years of experience in operations, management, sports, financial services and private enterprise. Strong values and an unyielding work ethic are the cornerstones of her business philosophy.

Youngblood, an avid sports aficionado, works endlessly to oversee operations and build and maintain client relations. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University (an NCAA Division I scholarship athlete and National Champion).
